Get to know IKEA and Älmhult

A sunny, green landscape, trees, a road and a modern coach destined for IKEA Museum in Älmhult, Sweden.

Many visitors come to IKEA Museum in their own chartered coach. You can book an experienced guide from IKEA Museum, who joins you on board and takes you on a tour through IKEA and Älmhult past and present.

Our guide shows the way past Majtorp, where the Kamprad family lived before moving to Älmtaryd. We also swing by our ultra-modern test lab, and one of the world’s biggest distribution centres for IKEA. In the town centre we pass the statue of Linnaeus, born just a stone’s throw away, in what today is the nature reserve of Råshult.

The guide around Älmhult takes about an hour. The coach package also includes a guided tour of the IKEA Museum exhibitions, and lunch and fika in KÖKET restaurant.

Please contact us if you would like to book the coach guide only. Price 1,500 SEK.
